Humectants are usually applied to the skin in a topical mixture. Anhydroxylitol is a molecule that primarly belongs to hydroxyl groups, amines, and carboxyl groups. It is considered to be a natural sugar that can gather and encase water molecules to stimulate Hyaluronic acid. Hyaluronic acid already exists inside of the human body and is found in the eyes and joints. Also used to combat the effects of aging skin, Hyaluronic acid available for use in a synthetic supplement form.
