Glucosamine Hcl

Glucosamine HCl

Counters damage of oxidative stress while targeting photo-damage due to sun exposure.

Glucosamine HCl from ShellfishGlucosamine HCl (Glucosamine hydorchloride) is a derivative of shell fish crustaceans. As one of three common forms of Glucosamine (also, Glucosamine chondroitin and Glucosamine sulfate). Although it is an essential for production and repair of the bones, the production of this nutrient, unfortunately, slows as the human ages.

It is suggest by recent studies that this substance could also deliver these reparative properties to the skin. Glucosamine is also an antioxidant containing complexes N-acetyl glucosamine and niacinamide which can counter the effects of oxidative stress triggered by exposure to sunlight and reduce the appearance of age spots. Additionally, this ingredient can function to inhibit hyperpigmentation activity and balance skin tone. Glucosamine also builds a protective barrier against environmental damage to the skin andaids the skin’s retetion of moisture.

Glucosamine HCl  is also responsible for the reduction of apparent signs of aging. Overtime, hyaluronic acid is lost from the skin due to aging, in turn causing wrinkling of the skin. Glucosamine complexes produce hyaluronic acid promoting elasticity retention and reducing the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles. It is found most effective in the area of the eye for minimizing the appearance of crow’s feet.
